Description
Installing skid plates is a relatively easy and cost effective way to extend the lifespan of your canoe. This product is suitable for canoes made from composite materials including Fiberglass, Aramid, Carbon Fibre, TuffStuff and Blue Steel. Composite skid plates are 37.5″ long. If you are picking up from the store in London please note that these kits are not kept in stock as they have a shelf life. Please order a day or two ahead and we will have it ready for you as soon as possible.

- Instruction Sheet
- Kevlar Skid Plate Felts – 1 pair
- Tinted Resin (specify colour)
- Sandpaper
- Mixing Bucket
- Stir Stick
- Latex Gloves
MEKP (Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide) is needed to use this kit. It is the catalyst that hardens the liquid resin. MEKP is a hazardous material and we can’t ship it. It is easy to source locally at hardware stores and auto repair shops as Bondo Liquid Hardener (11mL .37 fl oz). Orders picked up at our store in London, Ontario Canada include MEKP at no extra cost.
